Robotic Process Automation Lead

Start Date: ASAP (January 2021)

Duration: 6 months

Our client is a media owner, looking to quickly improve process efficiency to improve competitiveness. Based on Lean Six Sigma practices they are highlighting a number of process improvement opportunities. In order to deliver these opportunities they need to improve their systems but legacy applications are slow and fragile to change. For this reason, they would like to build a simple and streamlined web-front end that abstracts their complex legacy applications and processes using RPA. We are looking for a technical lead to work with the process team to design, lead the build of and hands-on develop this solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining the simple tech architecture/solution
• Designing the solution working hand in hand with process analysts
• Leading a small team of developers (3 to 4)
• Hands-on development of front-end, back-end logic, and RPA

Job requirements

Essential qualifications/skills/competencies:

• Experienced software engineer (largely front end or this exercise but there may need to be logic built too)
• Experience as full-stack engineer
• Experience with leading RPA using e.g UIPath and BluePrism
• Experience of solution architecture / design
• Robotic process automation
• Leadership of engineering teams
• Ideally experience of solving this type of problem – hacking together a quick solution to optimize process on a legacy stack
