Vinovest is seeking a Portfolio Advisor to drive our efforts to democratize access to fine wine investing. You will be a critical member of our small, growing sales team.

Who you are

You are hungry and self-motivated. You know how to adapt your approach when talking with different types of potential clients. You’re constantly coming up with innovative new ideas and suggestions to improve the sales organization.. You work well under pressure, and you are accountable to results

What you will be doing

  • Advise potential clients on joining the Vinovest platform
  • Work exclusively with pre-qualified, pre-scheduled clients (no cold-calls)
  • Use technology and data to improve effectiveness and efficiency (CRM tools, custom reports, etc.)
  • Be effective at follow-up with leads who are interested but not yet sold
  • Build relationships with existing client base for future upsell opportunities.

Job requirements

What you should have

  • Passion about Vinovest and the problem we’re solving.
  • A well-rounded understating of the basics of investing. Any financial related experience or exposure to alternative investing is a big plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-performing sales environment.
  • Outstanding follow-through. You say what you’ll do, and do what you say. You hold your team to this standard. You don’t let details slip.
  • You listen well. You build consensus by default, but can drive hard decisions when needed. You push the pace. You take blame and pass on praise. People love working with you.
  • Written communication that is clear and effective.
