The Role

We are looking for a part-time Operations Associate with 1-2 years experience (open to different types of experience, internship, applicable coursework and/or work experience) to support our company in areas of Internal Operations and People Operations. One of the most important skills for this role will be the ability to effectively prioritize your workload and triage requests accordingly. This role is a great fit for candidates looking for a fast-paced work environment with opportunities to develop a strong operations skillset.

Commitment: 15-20 hours/week

Role type: Contract to hire

Location: Remote


  • Employee Onboarding/Off-boarding: Setting up platform access for full-time and part-time employees, scheduling trainings, and other behind the scenes onboarding/off-boarding tasks
  • Cross-functional projects: Examples of projects might include assisting in streamlining internal processes through research or updating documentation, and collecting feedback or data to improve our program offerings
  • Finance Administration: Support activities such as subscription invoicing and employee reimbursements (Expensify) 
  • Culture Building: Planning virtual happy hours and other social events for our full-time and part-time employees, assisting with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives


  • 1+ year of operations, administrative, executive assistant or customer support experience 
  • Ability to commit 15-20 hours/week
  • Self-motivated and can work autonomously to finish project-based work
  • Experience with our platforms is a plus! (e.g. Quickbooks, Asana, Google Suite, Gusto, Calendly, Slack, WhenIWork)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Startup experience and passion for education/mentorship are a plus!
