Who we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated sales leader who can be successful as both an individual contributor and team leader. You will be leading a small team of Portfolio Advisors in addition to closing your own sales. Top performers at this position will be groomed for higher level sales management, and you will be a critical member of our small, fast growing sales team.

This role reports directly to the Director of Sales.

What you will be doing

  • Advise potential clients on joining the Vinovest platform.
  • Work exclusively with pre-qualified, pre-scheduled clients (no cold-calls).
  • Use technology and data to improve effectiveness and efficiency (CRM tools, custom reports, etc.).
  • Be effective at follow-up with leads who are interested but not yet sold.
  • Lead a small team (2-3) of Portfolio Advisors and ensure that they meet their goals.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1’s with each member of your team.
  • Actively review your teamsteam's pipeline and daily/weekly activity to ensure they hit targets.
  • Help train your team on new selling techniques.
  • Average time split: 75% direct sales & 25% managing team

Job requirements

What you need

Possess 2 - 5+ years of relevant sales experience in finance, banking, fine wine, or other similar fields.You are hungry and self-motivated. Deep passion for mentoring & coaching others to succeed & reach new heights. You are able to adapt your approach when speaking with different buyer types.Youwork well under pressure and are accountable to results.Bonus points if you have any of the following:Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business management, finance management, or similar degree.Financial certification such as; series 7, series 65, CFA, CFP, etc. A background in alternative assets. Any wine certifications; WSET or Court of Master Sommeliers.Knowledge of investment grade wine or fine wine in general. Experience leading a small sales team.
