If you’ve been following our job opportunities you might have noticed that this is the first time we are hiring for this position. Our recipe so far has been to hire great software engineers and then develop those who are interested in this career path into team leads and it has been working quite well. However, we feel we are at a stage that we could experiment a bit with our recipe and see whether we can make it better by adding some extra spice.
Ok enough with this analogy, let’s see what’s actually cooking in this job post. As we are now at a hyper-growth stage, we feel that we could benefit a lot from adding to the team someone who has been an engineering lead in another company on a similar journey as ours and brings relevant experience and fresh ideas. Someone with the ability to organize a team, plan the different work-streams and own the delivery process & alignment with stakeholders, while still enjoying being close to the actual code. A person who puts the team first and is passionate about supporting people in their growth.
