About the Position

The Director of Business Development will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for growing their department and Curebase's portfolio of customers. Curebase has a unique business model consisting of eClinical software, virtual site services, and digital CRO services.

You will identify business opportunities and be responsible for progressing deals sourced by yourself and others on your team. You should have the level of clinical knowledge required to handle deals up through the point of bid defense.


  • Bachelors degree, preferably in biology, clinical research, project management or related field
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
  • Ability to build and manage a team
  • Experience selling to CROs, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or Biotech Companies.
  • 4+ years of experience in relevant business development/sales position
  • Tech-savvy with the skills and ability to apply new systems to her/his everyday tasks
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead through influence without direct authority
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision making, attention to detail, and personal accountability
